What are the known NHTSA recalls for a 2014 Subaru Tribeca?
The NHTSA has issued 10 recalls affecting the 2014 Subaru Tribeca, covering the air bag inflator, hood latch/safety system, and a transmission parking mechanism defect. Specifically, seven recalls involve defective passenger frontal air bag inflators that may rupture and send metal fragments into the cabin; two recalls address a hood safety and hood lock system that can allow the hood to open while driving; and one recall concerns a transmission parking mechanism that may not engage. These summaries are taken from NHTSA records; Mike Shaw Subaru Greeley can confirm your vehicle's status and complete any free recall repairs.

If you prefer, schedule service online and we will run the VIN check, explain any open recalls, and reserve parts and time to complete repairs.
How much does a 2014 Subaru Tribeca recall repair cost?

Does an open recall affect my 2014 Subaru Tribeca's trade-in or resale value?

Can I fail a state inspection because of an unresolved 2014 Subaru Tribeca recall?
Open recalls themselves are not always cited on routine state safety inspections, but safety-related defects (like a hood that can open unexpectedly or a faulty air bag) can lead to failed inspections or unsafe vehicle determinations in some jurisdictions. Because NHTSA-classified defects directly affect safety, resolving recalls at Mike Shaw Subaru Greeley minimizes the risk of inspection problems, insurance complications, or denied claims resulting from known, unaddressed defects. If you have inspection concerns, please call our service department or schedule service and we will check open recalls and provide any required corrective work.
