Coming Soon: 2020 Subaru Legacy

The time has come for an all-new Subaru Legacy.

The Chicago Auto Show was the stage where Subaru introduced the upcoming 2020 Legacy. It will be the only midsize sedan Coloradans will ever need.

The new Legacy will be built on the Subaru Global Platform, currently the basis for the current Impreza, Crosstrek, Ascent, and Forester. The platform was adopted for the midsize sedan without compromising quietness, stability, and agility. The new Legacy will be the most advanced vehicle in its class in terms of construction and engineering.

Two engines will power the new Legacy with more performance and efficiency than ever before. Standard models get an updated 182-horsepower, 2.5-liter Boxer four-cylinder engine. New for 2020 is the XT lineup, featuring a 260-horsepower, 2.4-liter turbocharged Boxer four-cylinder engine. Both engines will be connected to Subaru's continuously variable transmission and symmetrical all-wheel-drive system.

Stepping inside the 2020 Legacy you'll see the most refined interior in Subaru's history. The materials have been upgraded across the Legacy lineup. Legacy Touring models will feature Nappa leather, a material found on the most expensive automobiles. Ten-way power driver seats is a first in Legacy history, available on its top trims. Trunk space has been increased to 15.1 cubic feet, thanks to a reshaped trunk area with a longer floor.

Technology is a major focus on the 2020 Legacy. The new sedan will feature the largest touchscreen in Subaru has ever had. The 2020 Legacy will be home to a tablet-style, high-definition 11.6-inch Starlink Multimedia Plus infotainment system. This screen is completely customizable for infotainment, climate control, and vehicle settings. It is also where you can access Subaru's in-car Wi-Fi hotspot connection, along with smartphone connectivity through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can also set parental controls through this screen, where certain drivers can be limited to location and speed.

In addition, the 2020 Legacy will feature the new DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System. This system detects when you are being distracted while behind the wheel, then alerts and corrects your path to avoid a potential collision. The 2020 Legacy will have the Eye Sight driver assistance system standard across the lineup.

Coming to Greeley Subaru this fall, there will be a wide choice of 2020 Legacy models to choose from. Pricing and specifications will be released prior to arrival at our showroom.
