Greeley Subaru proudly offers the most popular vehicles sold in Colorado. For anyone wanting a family-sized SUV that is capable enough to get through the tough stuff, while accommodating seven or eight people to get anywhere any time of year, the all-new Ascent is the right choice!

What makes the all-new Subaru Ascent the preferred family SUV for Coloradans?

DESIGN

Foremost, the Ascent is designed as a larger SUV, offering maximum capacity and capability for its faithful owners. It is also a rugged machine that offers both style and usefulness. Plus, it offers plenty of advantages over SUVs in its class. Its 8.7-inch ground clearance provides better clearance of uneven surfaces. The Ascent's 71.6-inch overall height with crossbars installed makes it easier for items to be removed from the roof rack system - such as bicycles and oversized camping equipment.

PERFORMANCE

The Ascent comes with an all-new direct injected and turbocharged horizontally-opposed Boxer engine. This 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine offers 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.

Having a turbocharger attached to Ascent offers great benefits, especially living up here in Colorado. Because of the altitude, naturally aspirated engines end up putting out 20-40% less in advertised power. (Performance testing is done at sea level.) A turbocharger will compensate with the loss of power in higher elevations by simply replacing it with boosted performance.

All Ascent models come with a Lineartronic CVT transmission with an 8-speed manual mode.

SYMMETRICAL ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

Only Subaru offers standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive for superb traction all year round. The design of the system is rooted in its horizontally-opposed engines, which provide a lower center of gravity for optimal operation of the system. Within the system, there is Active Torque Split on CVT equipped models, which distributes power between the two axles depending on actual throttle response. Combined with available Active Torque Vectoring, X-Mode, Hill Descent Control and Incline Start Assist, the system works to enable more stability, control, and performance on inclines and slippery road surfaces. This all-wheel drive system is made for Colorado with year-round capabilities in the snow, mud and wherever the road ends.

CABIN DESIGN

Ascent drivers will love how well laid out the cabin is. It seats up to eight passengers, plus 19.6 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row of seats. Fold down the rear seats, and there is 72.6 cubic feet of total cargo space available to bring everything you need for a weekend further up the range. Drivers have great access to a clean instrument cluster, superb controls, and great vision all around.  You will be impressed by the quality of materials in the new Ascent.  It's a level of material quality you've never experienced in a Subaru -- even nicer than some luxury brands.

TECHNOLOGY

Starlink is how a Subaru driver communicates, stays informed, and entertains. It is a hub of connected services, now including smartphone connections via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Plus, Starlink offers enhanced service offered by SiriusXM, including real-time traffic reporting. Certain trim levels will include Starlink Safety Plus and Security Plus packages that report accident information and stolen vehicle tracking. Depending on trim, the touch screen measures to 6.5 or 8.0 inches. Navigation is available on certain Ascent models

SAFETY

Subarus are built safe and secure. The Ascent is no exception. It starts with the standard Eyesight, the most advanced driver assistance technology in the automotive industry. It uses stereo cameras to sense the road ahead, enabling such features as Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking, Vehicle Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keep Assist. It is one of the highest rated active safety systems according to the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. Other active safety features available on the Ascent include Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, as well as Reverse Automatic Braking and High Beam Assist, when equipped with Eyesight.
