2020 Outback Named to Wards 10 Best User Experiences List

It’s no secret that the Subaru Outback is Colorado’s favorite vehicle, and the reasons why keep growing. The recently debuted 2020 Outback is already starting to make the Top 10 lists, the latest being the 2019 Wards 10 Best User Experiences list for its intuitive interior design and features like connectivity, infotainment, controls, and driver assist technology, not to mention overall value. Basically, this makes it official that a Subaru is as easy to drive and ride in as it is fun!

WardsAuto is one of the leading authorities in automotive insights and analysis. For this 4th annual competition, they evaluated 23 vehicles on their ability to make technology easy to use while enhancing an individual’s lifestyle.

What you’ll notice right away in the rethought and reimagined interior of the Outback is an all-new tablet-style 11.6-inch Full HD multimedia display, front and center of the cabin. This touchscreen control hub comes standard on all but the base trim, and is the most advanced infotainment screen in a Subaru to date. It controls everything from multimedia to HVAC and vehicle settings, as well as integration for smartphones with both Apple CarPlay and Android auto. Just like a smartphone, you can move the app icons around for your personal preference. Additionally, this top-of-the-line control center adds navigation powered by TomTom and voice-activated navigation. No need to stop for directions like the old days, just ask your Subaru Outback how to get to your destination and it will show you the way.

But all of this fun and convenience would be nothing without putting safety first. The 2020 Subaru Outback comes standard with Subaru’s award-winning EyeSight Driver Assist Technology that acts as a second set of eyes for the driver. Mounted above the rearview mirror, two cameras are able to detect and act to obstacles in the vehicles path. Included in EyeSight’s features are: Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control with new Lane Centering function; Automatic Pre-Collision Braking and Throttle Management; Lane Departure and Sway Warning; Lane Keep Assist function and High Beam Assist. Available segment-exclusive DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System uses a dedicated near-infrared camera and facial recognition technology to identify signs of driver fatigue or distraction and provides audio and visual warnings to alert the driver and passengers. Additional available driver-assist technologies include LED Steering Responsive Headlights, Reverse Automatic Braking, Blind-Spot Detection with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and EyeSight Assist Monitor with heads-up display.

We could list all the amazing things about the 2020 Subaru Outback here for you to read, but there’s nothing like experiencing one in person. Stop into Greeley Subaru today to take a test drive (or two) and you’ll see firsthand how the all-new 2020 Outback easily made it to the Wards Top 10 Best User Experiences list. We look forward to seeing you soon!
