Greeley Subaru invites the community to help local students love learning

At Greeley Subaru, giving back the community is important. Which is why this month, in collaboration with the larger Subaru Love Promise,we’re proud to participate in the Subaru Loves Learning initiative.

For the fifth year in a row, Subaru is partnering with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) to broaden students’ worlds with the study of science, engineering and innovation by increasing access to beloved science books. Since 2015, Subaru and AAAS have donated over 187,000 books to schools across the country, including right here in the Greeley, Colorado area.

Along with around 540 other Subaru retailers, we’ll be donating award-winning science books to K-12 schools, which are selected from the winners and finalists of the AAAS/Subaru SB&F Prize for Excellence in Science Books. This award emphasizes the importance of science books for both enjoyment and information, with this year’s selection focusing on outstanding and engaging science writing and illustration for young readers.

If you’d like to help out local students with the Subaru Loves Learning initiative, stop into Greeley Subaru any time this month to donate a book. You can even add a personalized touch by writing a note of encouragement on a bookmark inside it. But we’re not stopping at just books and bookmarks — we also have collection boxes for schools supplies like notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and more for local students in need.

While you’re here, why not take a drive in any of the Subarus in our inventory — you just might fall in love with your next vehicle!
